About Me
What is there really to say? I am a very fortunate person with a tremendous amount appreciation for my life and those who have
entered it. I have had the opportunity to bring three children into the world, experience what it is like to fly at 50,000 feet and 1.3 mach, stand over a three foot putt more nervous then taking my SATs, and making it through the US Naval Academy.
Looking back at the first three decades, I guess you could say I have lived a charmed life. It has had it’s ups and downs, but overall I have managed to be on the right side of the bell curve and accomplished some pretty cool things. I am proud of that, but more so I look to the future and what I can do each and everyday to bring about happiness and joy into the world.
It goes without saying that from birth I had an advantage with two loving parents. Always giving the opportunity to grow and try new things, I grew up riding my bike, fishing, going to school, and being able to have fun. Not everyone gets that opportunity and I am very grateful for a start to life that opened my mind to new things and adventures.
This blog is really about those adventures and re-living past experiences to engage my creative mind. My wish is for you to do the same, start writing everyday and let the words flow, it is a great experience!
1. Be individualistic. Don’t be afraid to be you, entirely.
2. Have the courage to risk failure, learn from setbacks, and forge ahead.
3. Focus on how you live your life, or in sport, how you race the race, or how you play the game, as opposed to the outcome of the race, or game.
4. Use every race, every game, every challenge in life as an opportunity to gain greater self realization.
5. Know your vulneralblities and train to strengthen them.
6. Create balance, moderation, and simplicity when possible.
7. See your competitors as partners who facilitate improvement.
8. See success as one part of the process, but not as everything.
9. Understand that performance, and life in general, is a roller coaster and have the patience to ride the ups and downs, and respect them for what they both bring you.
10. Have vision. Dream things into possibilities, and enjoy the pleasure it brings to participate, and to work hard at achieving your dreams.

And you could paint this theme more in detail, it seems to me that here something does not suffice
Hello Jay – I live in Delaware and I prowl yard sales, flea markets and such. Yesterday I came upon a Seiko wristwatch with your name inscribed on it. It was apparently awarded to you in 1993 for the “Dinty” Moore Lacrosse award at the Academy. How it got here in Delaware I don’t know, but I think it should be in your hands. Since I don’t have a Facebook or Youtube account, I think (and hope) this is the easiest way to contact you.
Kind regards,
Dave Low
